My advice? Start with these basics that most brands miss:
- Just ask: Happy customers are glad to talk about you — but they don’t just wake up one day and decide to do it.
- Make it easy: Make your content really, really easy to share.
- Give up some control: Customers are going to talk about you in their own voice and in their own way. It’s not going to be scripted or perfectly on-brand, and that’s OK.
