Here’s a great trick for anyone exhibiting at a conference, especially a more grass-roots conference where people are networking for themselves instead of their employer.
Print business cards for attendees who don’t have any (or used them up). All you need is a cheap color printer, some pre-perforated business card paper, and a laptop with a template set up.
It’s great:
- Costs less than $1 per person
- They are grateful — and they tell every single person at the event about where they got the cards
- The prospect stands in the booth and talks to your sales reps, totally focused, while you make the cards
