Cookies on an airplane

Since 1986, Midwest Express Airlines has baked fresh chocolate chip cookies on every flight.

It’s such a simple thing. And everyone talks about it. Those cookies are legend, and they create millions of positive conversations every year.

IMG_2910What’s your cookie?

Is there one simple thing you can do to get your customers talking about you? It doesn’t have to be a fancy campaign — it just has to be one great reason to talk.

(I’m thrilled that Frontier, the new owner of Midwest, has continued the tradition.)

Just to clarify, Frontier didn’t buy Midwest.

Both Frontier and Midwest were bought by Republic Airlines, which kept the Frontier name (and the cute animal ads) and the Midwest cookies.
