Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps are wonderful. They have a wacky brand with entertainingly bizarre messages written all over the packaging (click for a closeup). And it’s great soap.
They have die-hard fans who have been with them for decades. And they just happen to be a green and organic company, long before it was a fad.
That’s why I was horrified to see this new bottle. It could be from anyone. It could be a generic drug-store brand.
Warning to the Bronner family: If you lose your personality, you lose the company. You’re about to throw away an irreplaceable 60-year-old brand, just when your niche is going mainstream, big-time.
