Helping out is more than just sending a check

It’s great when people help out in a disaster. Money always helps, and it’s the easiest way to help.

But if you’re near a disaster situation, there may be something more useful and meaningful you can do.

Here’s a nice example: New York Sports Club opened up their showers and gyms to anyone affected by Sandy for free.

They had the facilities, it doesn’t really cost them anything — and it’s something that is a big deal to folks who need it. I’m sure that, beyond today’s good deed, it will be appreciated for years to come.

Is there something simple-but-fantastic that you can do?
