How to get hundreds of new buyers into your store

Great example: Sam’s Club offers free pre-summer-camp medical screenings for kids every July. Thousands of parents need to get this done, no one wants to go to the expensive and slow doctor’s office.

So they go to Sam’s Club, get the exam done … and leave with a cart full of camp supplies. I don’t know what it costs to pay the medical team doing the exams, but I bet they earn back the cost with the first few shoppers.

What can you do (that isn’t sales-related) to get customers to drop by?

    Brilliant!

    Now let’s see:
    * Whole Foods — annual health exams
    * Apple — eye exams
    * Barnes & Noble — teeth cleaning
    * Costco — at-cost prescriptions

    I’d be stocked up on essentials and wouldn’t care that I don’t have health insurance!
