I’m only 82% dorky

IMG_0002Latest life challenges:

  • Be less fat
  • Keep up with a gazillion blogs
  • Clean office

Solution: Attach my old, slow Dell 700M laptop to an elliptical machine.

I use Alltop and Google Reader with the fonts turned up big to get 30 solid minutes of reading done.

    That’s not dorky, that’s BRILLIANT.

Actually, while I love the ingenuity, and have considered something similar, it isn’t exercise that will make you less fat but eating fewer carbohydrates. The American diet is based in “science” not science. I recommend Gary Taubes’ book, Good Calories, Bad Calories, which gives the details — he’s about the finest investigative science journalist out there, and the bill of goods the American public has been sold is just stunning.
Go on my blog and search Taubes if you want to know more. Also, “Donut Seem Unfair” in my columns on my site. (Didn’t know if you’d consider it rude of me to post a link. Found your blog through one of Guy Kawasaki’s Twitters — will keep reading, as your stuff seems smart and I have a book coming out in October!)
