Andy: as fellow Chicagoans and Medill/IMC adjunct professors, you and I share quite a bit in common…including the LOVE for the Carnegie Deli! I am a dyed-in-the-wool Midwesterner who has been doing frequent business in NYC since I was 22 years old (a WHILE ago) — and while I admit to carrying a Second City chip on my shoulder, I must admit I’ve never had a deli experience in the hog butcher capital of the world like the one I’ve had, frequently, in the Big Apple at this unique experience of an eatery. Positive word of mouth (and positive food in mouth), spread on!
