Simplify to start conversations

If you want people to talk about your business, you'll have more success of you give them a single thing to talk about.

Many people are just crazy in love with their Flip video cameras. Flip has a following as passionate as TiVo or iPhone.

It confuses me, because many digital cameras take the exact same quality video, are smaller, and you get to take still photos also.

So why are people raving over a camera that has half the features?

Answer: It's easier to talk about things that are simpler.

We can't remember a camera's list of features and benefits and attributes.  We can remember "you just shoot and stick it in your computer". So we talk about it.

I feel like this is why this blog started. Ideas that are short and sweet and make you say “damn I wish i thought of that”.
Your blog posts don’t have to be long–nobody wants to hear over analysis of something so simple to understand.
Love the flip, it’s simple like bottled water, plenty of fish, and twitter.
