Support moustaches and support men’s health by donating now

Did you know that one in every two men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

Scary stuff, certainly. But as it turns out, about 1/3 of all cancer deaths could be prevented if we lost some weight, ate better, became more active, and got regular check-ups.

That’s where moustaches come in.

Every year during November, the Movember cause is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

And this year, we at SocialMedia.org have set up a team and are asking for your help to raise funds for this great cause. We’re thrilled to have already raised $1,590, but we’re just getting started.

The funds raised are directed to programs run directly by Movember and their men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

P.S. This is also a fantastic word of mouth lesson: Give people a fun way to show support for a cause that would otherwise be a difficult subject to talk about.
