The best place to tell your story

IMG_2271Every single customer walks away with a receipt. Most look at it. Many save it.

It’s a rare opportunity to tell them something. It’s your chance to get the last word.

Here’s a great example from Trader Joe’s.

What thought are you going to leave them with? Fine print from your lawyers … or a reason to come back?

    I like this idea. Square could implement this…. tapping the receipt, it flips on screen, and displays something like this.

    Came across a similar useful example while taking out the trash….Simplehuman puts a sticker on the 2nd (or 3rd?) to last trash bag alerting you it’s nearly time to get more.

    I love this idea – it makes great use of space most people don’t normally pay attention to, which is both a pleasant surprise and shows a different kind of attention to detail. It also shows personality, and I think a lot of brands overlook this when creating a branding/collateral scheme.
