The coolest direct mail package you’ve ever seen

Sometimes you see marketing so awesome you just have to share it.

Like this amazing mailing from sound designers GGRP — a working record player made from cardboard.

Very cool, what a great way to send someone an audio message and have the interaction be shared. I love the “retro” commercial as well.

I worked in a music store in Florida in the mid 90’s and we were the only place in town that sold 45’s, so teenagers would come in, see the 45’s and ask us what they were. Good times!

I love ideas and innovations like this because it just goes to show that certain methods of marketing (i.e. – direct mail) never die as long as you are willing to grow and evolve along with them!

would have been a lot cooler if this wasn’t a direct rip-off!!
