For Wells Fargo, social media is not about the tools. Instead, social media is another way to have a dialogue with its customers. Joining the conversation can humanize the brand, but it requires advance work to listen, learn, and know the culture. Small "test and learn" initiatives" can be a great start rather than jumping in with a loud splash.
