Big Opportunity for Food Bloggers

image One of our clients is the National Restaurant Association – and I’m very pleased to report that they have a fantastic open attitude toward bloggers and reaching out to the blog community.  (I’ll be writing more about this soon.)

Today’s big news:  They are giving full-access press passes to the show to bloggers who are serious about covering it.  It’s a wonderful event, great fun, and a dream-come-true for all you foodie bloggers out there.  Meet famous chefs, see the latest gadgets, and try all the new foods.

Attention All Serious Bloggers

If you are blogging about food and beverages, kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, or the restaurant and hospitality industry in general, the National Restaurant Association is looking for you! The 2008 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show and inaugural International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event (IWSB) are just around the corner and there is no other place that offers more blog-worthy restaurant-related opportunities.

NRA Show 2008 (May 17-20) and IWSB (May 19-20) are taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago. There is a ton of great stuff happening this year at the place where more new products and services are launched than anywhere else!

Whether you’re looking to cover the latest in technology, meet celebrity chefs or explore what’s "hot" in the food and beverage world, you may be granted access to the Show as a journalist if you’re running a news-centered blog focused on the restaurant universe. Send an e-mail with a link to your blog to [email protected] to check if you fit the bill. If you can’t make it to Chicago or just blog for fun, you can still follow the Show from the Show Web site (www.restaurant.org.show).
