“Don’t focus on the one guy who hates you. You don’t go to the park and set your picnic down next to the only pile of dog shit.”

Quote via – 9:41 AM Jun 28th

We spend so much of our time responding to the haters, the critics, and the complainers. These are people who will never be good customers, will never help you, and will burn out your spirit.

Every minute you waste on a negative troll is stolen from your fans, your friends, and your family — those that want you to succeed.

Refocus your attention on surrounding yourself with positive supporters and learn to ignore those who tear you down.

Love this post. You make a great point. Unfortunately we all at times seem to get bogged down in the negative when we should focus on our successes.

HA! There’s a grump who came to our office every day in his courier position. I made it my personal challenge to engage him and see if I could change his outlook–at least for the few minutes that he was in my offices. Persistence paid off. He actually started to smile and joke and wish us all well. In the end, it was worth putting up with that particular piece of dog shit!
