Turning the lost & found into customer service

A friend of mine was at the Marriott Courtyard in Devon, PA and realized he left his phone charger at home.

He went to the front desk to get a cab to the Verizon store. Rafal was working the desk and asked if it was for a charger. When my friend said “yes” he went into the back and returned with a box with at least 100 different chargers of various varieties that past guests had left behind. They found one that worked and Rafal told him to keep it.

There is probably a giant box of unclaimed chargers in every hotel.

Every one is a chance to wow a guest and save their day.
