It’s easy: Always be capturing ideas.
- Carry a camera and a notepad. Every time you see something, snap a shot or jot a note.
- Keep an electronic file of half-baked ideas. I use Windows Live Writer, and a lot of bloggers use Evernote.
Although I have already written 2,000 posts, I have a huge file of ideas stashed away over the years: 514 photos and 612 random notes.
When it’s time to sit down and write, I’m not desperate to come up with an original idea on the spot. I just grab one out of the pile. Less stress and a better blog.
