An Important Memo to Business Travelers Everywhere

Changing station

Dear Traveling Businessman:

I often see you using the baby-changing station in the airport bathroom as a dressing table for yourself.

Outside of an actual open sewer, this is the most poop and pee-covered surface you’ll encounter.

I’m glad you chose to rub your nice suit and suitcase all over it — then drag that poo down the airplane aisle and spread it in the overhead bin for all of us to share.

Have a nice day!

I bet a changing table in a men’s bathroom doesn’t get a lot of use, is cleaned decently/regularly, and actually doesn’t have a lot of poop/pee on it. Any guy who ends up doing changes during travel is probably pretty deft to be trusted to bring back a changed baby without poop/pee on the child/dad and therefore probably not too many instances of a contaminated changing table. And if it’s one of those plastic deals, is anti-microbial.

    But yes, still nasty.

    A changing table is clean.

You could see if it wasn’t and avoid “dragging poo” into an airplane.

I think we should all worry more about those who don’t wash their hands or sneeze into their elbows.
