Everything you need to know about content marketing in 100 words

Replace your marketing with useful advice. Fill your website and YouTube with how-to videos and lessons. Blog good, solid information instead of promotions.

Here’s what’ll happen:

  1. Everyone will know that you’re an expert.
  2. People will come to your site to learn (which is easier and more effective that using an ad to get them to come and buy).
  3. They’ll bring their friends.
  4. They’ll subscribe to your content, and come back again and again. So you don’t need to keep marketing to them.

This is the entire secret to every business success I’ve ever had.

    Great post. Short, simple and to the point, just like your advice. It made me sign up.

    I have had it explained to me that the website and blog should not be marketing focused, rather information focused as you point out. Marketing can take place later as announcements in email.
